My hair is now a color that can only be described as "interesting". In the front, it's an orangey-redish-pink (no, wait, I take that back--it's just orange-ish), the sides and back are a bronze-ish color that are finally fading to blonde, and the underside is more blonde than anything. Oh, and did I mention that I only dyed the top layer of my hair (and a small part of the underside), so there's my natural brownish-redish hair in there too. Like I said, my hair is a color that can only be described as "interesting".Oh well, it'll be interesting for you guys when I post the transitional pictures. In the meantime....I have literally washed my hair twenty times since sarurday.4 times saturday, 5 sunday, 5 yesterday, and 6 today. Add them up..it's 20. So for a "semi-permanent" dye, this stuff is sure sticking like super glue. Cause isn't a semi-permanent supposed to wash completely out in like.. 8-12 washings?
I may have to go and buy a Henna Rinse (which, for those of you who don't know, that's a wash in, wash out hair color--it's used to "highlight" your hair for a day) or something for days when I go job hunting. Because I'm not ready to dye it black yet. (I think that's what I'm going to do.. let it be blonde for awhile, and then dye it black when my roots start to get really noticeable so my hair can grow out and look "normal".)
So, morale of the story? If you want to semi-permanent dye your hair, go for it, but if you're planning on looking for a job soon, don't "do everything imaginable to make it as intense as possible" like I did. Because I'm such a genius! All is well, though, as I have loved, and still do love my crazy hair.:)
The end.
