What do Death, Little Kids and Good Boyfriends have to do with each other? Nothing, but I had no better Title. 01/21/2005 - 2:14 p.m. I feel: |

| There are some events that have some significance that I feel I should mention.Namely, Wednesday. You see, Wednesday was the 19th of January. The 19th of January was the two-year anniversary of my Grandfather's Death. I'd really like to Visit his grave, but unfortunately, since it's in Las Vegas, I see no way of that happening. It's strange how I miss him so much, like there's something missing, when we weren't even close. When I lived with them, it was almost literally a situation of "I just live here, I'm not involved." I guess that maybe that could be a reason why it feels like something is missing--I'm not close with anyone in my family, so when they're gone, they're gone. There's no more chances to change anything. I don't want my family to die off and never know how it feels to have a close, or semi-close family. OK, that was a little weird. Even for me. Moving on. I have the best boyfriend in the world. I was having a crappy day the other day, so when Lesley came to my house after dinner, he brought with him: cookies; a Stuffed Dragon (Azriel) for me to play with; His electric guitar so he could play to cheer me up (he didn't, but what a sweet thought); and a recipe for playdough. It was quite possibly one of the sweetest things anyone else has done for me. Or at least one of the sweetest things recently. (Because, well, Lesley is incredibly sweet to me like, all the time. I couldn't ask for anything better, because I have the best. But that's a whole other entry all together.) Today, Lesley and I are celebrating a "Holiday" that we "came up with". We are now referring to it as "Little Kid Glory Day". We've inadvertently (for the most part) been acting like little kids today. We had Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches for Breakfast (and shared an orange), have been carrying around stuffed animals (Azriel and my fluffy dog, Muffin), had chocolate milk with our lunch (that we shared), and a bunch of random other things that little kids do. It's great! Everyone should declare a Little Kid Day! OK, so I'm done for now. Later Dudes! (Yes, I did that on purpose.:)) Backward - Forward |
