By the title of this entry, one may think that is some sort of advertisment, but alas, I am merely going to tell you about the books I have read{in 2003}.:)

Here they are, In the order I read them:

)1st to Die By James Patterson- This is about the investigation of couples that were murdered while on their honeymoons. I enjoyed this book, and I look forward to reading the "follow-up" book, Second chance.

)The Cinderella Mission By Catherine Mann-This book is about two CIA agents who go undercover, posing as a couple, looking for a Jewel theif. Ethan and Kelly{the agents} end up falling in love. I'm not usually big on the romance genre, but I thought this book was pretty good.

)Fear{The name of the author temporarily slipped my mind.} It was about a man who doesn't believe in demons, who gets haunted by them and eventually accepted them as real beings. It's an interesting idea to write about, but I didn't really think this book reached the potential it could have because the way it was written. It had quite a few lapses in punctuation and it gave a rather vague description of things or situations.

)Remember Me By Mary Higgins Clark- I'm not sure how to describe what this book is about. It took a few chapters to get into the "rythm" of the book, but once I did, I enjoyed reading it.

)Dead wrong By William K. Kienzle-This one is about a preist helping to investigate a 30-year old murder case, that leads him to knowledge of family secrets that have been kept from him. At first, some of the plot made me wonder What does this have to do with the murder case?, But I kept reading and became interested because It all had to do with it in different ways. Good book-Strange, but Good.

)House of Many Shadows By Barbara Michaels-This book is about a 20-something woman who was in an accident and has hallucinations because of trauma to her head. She goes to her cousin’s house for awhile to recover and ends up having hallucinations of people that lived in that house centuries before and were murdered, the only thing is- she’s not the only one who sees them-the caretaker of the house sees them too. I liked this book-it kept me entertained. Because the main characters were researching what they saw, I also learned a few things about history. The only thing bad that I can think of is that the book ended in sort of a cliff-hanger.

)Silent NightBy Mary Higgins Clark-This book is about a little boy {Brian} who's dad is in the hospital sick with Lukemia. Brian and his mom and Brother are on their way to go visit his dad to take him a St. Christopher medal that Brian believes will cure his dad, when Brian sees someone taking off with his mom's wallet. Brian goes after the person and ends up getting kid-napped. Very interesting book. Too short though, I finished it in about a day.

)The Lottery Winner-Willy and Alvirah stories By Mary Higgins Clark-This book is basically a bunch of stories in one. It's about a once-common couple who won the lottery. Alvirah likes to solve crimes. It was an interesting book, but I think I would have like it more if it were just one story line.

*The Seven Habits Of Highly effective PeopleBy Steven Covey-Not a novel, but I read it. It took forever to read.

)The Beach House by James Patterson {with Peter De Jonge}-This book is about a lawyer who is investigating his brother's murder, and almost gets himself and his friends murdered while doing it. I liked this book.

)2nd Chance by James Patterson-this book is sort of a "continuation" of 1st To Die in the sense that the "Women's Murder Club" is back. This one is about the investigations of the murdrer of blacks that are being passed off as "hate crimes". Excellent book.

11) Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas By James Patterson-This is a book written in Diary form about a mother writing to her son. Seeing as James Patterson writes mostly suspense, this was an interesting book to see. I enjoyed reading it. It had a different ending than I expected, that's always fun.

)Along Came A SpiderBy James Patterson- This is the first book in the Alex Cross series. It's about two little kids that get kid-napped and the detective {Alex Cross} that investigates the case. Very interesting book. Took me too long to read {two weeks for 500 pages}.

)Wizard's First Rule By Terry Goodkind-The first book in the "Sword of Truth" series of novels. Almost impossible for me to explain, but since reading this book, I have decided to read the rest of them. Yes, I liked this book.

)Stone of Tears By Terry Goodkind-Second book in "Sword of Truth" novels.

)Blood of the Fold By Terry Goodkind-Third book in the "Sword of Truth"series.

)Temple of the winds By Terry Goodkind-Fourth book in the "Sword of Truth" series.

)Soul of the Fire By Terry Goodkind-Fifth book in the "Sword of Truth" series.

)Faith of the Fallen By Terry Goodkind-Sixth book in the "Sword of Truth" series.

)Pillars of Creation By Terry Goodkind-Seventh book in the "Sword of Truth" series.

)Naked Empire By Terry Goodkind-Eighth book in the "Sword of Truth" series.

)Daddy's Little Girl By Mary Higgins Clark-This one is about a woman who sets out to prove the guilt of her sister's murderer to keep him from getting parolled, but she finds herself in some trouble. It was a fairly good book, but it took me awhile to get into it. I guess after readind the "Sword of Truth" books, I expect the plot to pick up quickly.

)Pop Goes the Weasel By James Patterson. Another Alex Cross novel. This time he's after someone who plays a fantasy game, called the four horsemen. Only, he acts out his murder fantasies in real life. Interesting book.

)The Midnight ClubBy James Patterson-This is one of JP's older books, about a group of crime lords who are getting killed and.. stuff. It's hard to explain. This is the first book of of his I've seen that was written in third person (as opposed to his usual first person perspective). I don't feel like JP can really pull off the third-person POV, so I didn't enjoy the book as much as I enjoyed others of his I had read. I was too distracted thinking "He writes better in first."

)Four Blind Mice By James Patterson- As 'usual', a book about murder, and the detective who's investigating, Alex Cross. I liked the book because it had the twists and turns that is normal for JP. However, I didn't like the refrences to September 11 (it was written post 9/11 tragedies).
