You know that feeling you get when you have a scar or scar tissue and it gets stretched a little and hurts like a new wound? Well, that's what happened to me tonight. Only it wasn't scar tissue. I (finally) got my stuff back from Trevor tonight (actually, Corbett did, but that's another matter), and having it in my hands again made me want to break down and cry.
It wasn't about the stuff, because the possesions are pretty basic (two rings and a stopwatch/compass). But having it back hurt me because it reminded me what it felt like when we broke up.
I was ok for awhile. At least OK to function. Now I feel...empty again. All over getting something back. How pathetic...
